Wood boring insects like carpenter ants and termites seek moist warm environments. Premier panel systems utilize a natural pesticide called "Borate" in EPS. This borate treated foam is extensively tested and has proven to have high resistance to many wood boring insects. This natural mineral additive is molded right into the foam, and will outperform surface applications of chemical insecticides. We also provide topical applications of borate, even in the electrical chases. TimBor is non-toxic and registered with the Environmental Protection Agency.
